In 2018, Ariya Jutanugarn took home the win from Tiburón at the Ritz Carlton Naples, bypassing a 3-way playoff with just one stroke. In 2019, Rory Sabbatini and Kevin Tway won the 31st annual QBE Shootout hosted by Greg Norman at Tiburón.

Last but not least, The PGA Tour Champions will be coming back to Naples in February! Last year Miguel Angel Jimenez won at the Chubb Classic held at Lely Resort in Naples. The PGA Tour Champions has been hosted among various Naples locations for almost 32 years. The event was started at Club Pelican Bay, since then the event has been hosted at Vineyards, Lely, Bay Colony, Pelican Marsh, Twin Eagles, Quai West, TPC Treviso Bay, The Quarry, and now Lely Classics for a second year. Just so happens that Gary Player, who hit the first-ever tee shot in 1988, designed Lely Classics course.

Some of these communities even have more than one course! Some of the Top 100 teachers also have academia in the area, including David Leadbetter, Rick Smith, Dr. Jim Suttie, and Tom Patri.

Since 2010, many clubs have kept members’ needs and wants at the upmost importance for the improvements in their facilities. Millions of dollars have been invested upon request for improving new restaurants, resort-style pools, fitness centers, entertainment venues, even full-clubhouse renovations! They have also added activities like golf, tennis, yoga, pickle ball and more.
